On Monday, February 7, FCANNJ Board member Mary Moriarty hosted an informative presentation on the time-tested practice of Medical Aid in Dying (MAiD). MAiD allows a terminally ill and mentally capable adult to request from their doctor a prescription for medication that the patient can then decide to self-ingest in order to die peacefully.
